COVID-19 News

Jr. Spinners Baseball & Softball Club,

We hope everyone is safe and well.  This has been a very difficult and unusual past few months for us all.  With the opportunity to get back to baseball & softball action soon, we hope that this brings some normalcy and happiness to everyone’s lives.  We can’t wait for our players and coaching staff to get back to working together!

Management has been working non stop behind the scenes dealing with state & local authorities, COVID-19 task force members, health officials, other clubs, leagues, facilities/field usage, scheduling, communication, etc.  We have done everything we can to make sure that your child and player has remained engaged and a part of our organization by creating the online curriculum, Zoom calls, and other initiatives we have put in place.

During this time, our Spinners’ players have proven to be dedicated and hardworking individuals on and off the field.  However, we are excited to get back to coaching and learning!

This Saturday, June 13, we will be kicking off the Summer with a program-wide practice for players and coaches to get back together focusing on developing our baseball and softball skills.

There will be updated guidelines in place for our coaches, players, and parents to review and follow as we get back into the swing of things (SEE ARTICLE LINK BELOW).  What we do not want, is to do anything incorrectly regarding the guidelines and be forced to shut down operations again.  It is necessary that we all be on the same page.

For softball, the players will also be broken off into groups of 8 or 9 or less.  The softball coaches will follow a similar format.

ALL Coaches will be wearing masks, players do not have to wear masks unless they are uncomfortable practicing without it.

Communication is going to be KEY as we move forward with reopening during the rest of the summer.  We ask that all parents continue to be responsive, and check their emails regularly for updates as we navigate through the coming weeks and months.

Lastly, we would like to thank the parents for your support and understanding these past few months.  The patience everyone has shown with all of the uncertainties we have faced, and are still facing, is VERY appreciated.  Seeing the players back on the field with their teammates is something all of our staff are excited about, and we will do everything to keep them safe, active and engaged.

If there are any questions or concerns please contact us individually and we will do our best to provide an answer.
